Nordic Walking (more active)

Uses poles to engage the upper body as well as the legs.

  • Builds strength and stamina

  • Supports posture and balance

  • Suitable for varied terrain and gentle inclines

Japanese Walking (interval walking)

Alternates between slow and slightly faster walking at a comfortable pace.

  • Improves cardiovascular health

  • Builds fitness gradually and safely

  • Adaptable to different energy levels

Gentle Walking (most accessible)

A relaxed, steady-paced walk with space to talk or walk quietly.

  • Supports recovery and reduces fatigue

  • Encourages connection and confidence

  • Suitable for flatter, more accessible terrain

Session structure

Sessions run consecutively, allowing participants to choose the style and pace that suits them

Each session includes a welcome, guided walk, and a gentle close.

10:00 – Nordic Walking (approx. 1 hour)
11.00 – Japanese Walking (approx. 1 hour)
12.00 – Gentle Walking (approx. 1 hour)​​
