The WALK
WALKING TOGETHER
Phil will walk the full route, but Strides 4 Survival isn't a solo journey.
At different points along the way, people affected by cancer, healthcare professionals, veterans, supporters and members of the public will be invited to walk alongside him.
Everyone has a part to play.
-
Cancer survivors, including those affected by HPV-related cancers
-
People currently living with cancer, walking short, manageable sections
-
Healthcare professionals, including nursing staff and supporters
-
Royal Marines veterans
-
Macmillan, Maggies supporters and volunteers
-
Members of the public who want to walk, cheer, or support in practical ways
There will also be invitations for public figures and celebrities who have survived HPV-related cancers to join parts of the route, helping amplify awareness and reach wider audiences.
Some will walk a mile. Some a day. Others will support from the roadside or behind the scenes.
This is not a race. It is a statement of presence, endurance, and hope.
